Maritime Art GreenwichMaritime Art Greenwich (MAG) was a website which offered a searchable database of selected paintings plus in-depth content on some of the major themes of maritime art. Now, this content has been incorporated into Collections Online. MAG provides a learning resource combining subject expertise and the National Maritime Museum's oil painting collection. In conjunction with the Journal for Maritime Research – the first electronic journal in the field – MAG offers detailed information about some of the oil paintings within the NMM collections and caters for various types of audience, from the interested general public to students in higher education.
