Knot collection
A Turk's head with interwoven Carrick bends started by HRH Prince George Edward Alexander Edmund, Duke of Kent (1902-1942) on board HMS 'Hawkins' but never finished (the knot is complete but has not been trippled). A larger completed example intended as a pattern is shown above. Both knots are mounted on a cardboard tube covered with blue paper.
