A group portrait of the bosun and two sailors taken on board the tanker Malwa (1961) while under way at sea. The photographer appears to be on the starboard side of the boat deck looking to port. The bosun on the left hand side is wearing dark blue overalls, the sailor in the middle is wearing dark blue overalls with a blue beret and is holding a broom, whilst the sailor on the right is wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and is also holding a broom. This is Slide 21 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Senior Second Officer and Navigator on board the tanker Malwa (1961), owned by the P&O Group, from 14 November 1963 to 9 March 1964. The lecture consists of 75 slides.
