Nelson's 'Agamemnon' engaging four French frigates and a brig near Sardinia, 27 October 1793.

This is a variant pencil sketch to PAD8705 and, like that, also relates to a rather different watercolour of the same subject which was done in 1810. For further detail see the watercolour, PAF5873. This sketch is mounted with PAF0006 and bound with PAF0001–PAF0006, PAF0008–PAF0022. The ink mount inscription is a relatively modern one, not by the artist.
