First Class Dining Saloon on the 'Ivernia' (1900)

Interior of the passenger/cargo liner 'Ivernia' (1900) showing the First Class Dining Saloon, on the Shelter Deck; a view from the port side, looking aft.

The First Class Dining Saloon was fitted throughout in light oak. The well above the centre rose up through the Bridge and Boat Decks to a skylight forward of the chart house. The bevelled mirrors fitted around the trunkway are just visible in this photograph. The piano at the after end was manufactured by Collard & Collard.
