First Class Grill Room on the 'Aquitania' (1914)

Interior of the passenger liner 'Aquitania' (1914) showing the forward section of the First Class Grill Room, on the port side of the Upper Deck (D Deck). A view looking aft, from a position just inside the entrance, with the serving window at the left edge of the image.

The room is decorated in the early Jacobean style and was inspired by a 17th-century room from the 'Old Palace' at Bromley-by-Bow in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
