Dip circle
Dip circle and intensity apparatus of the type invented by Robert Fox in 1834. Graduated quadrantally, inner scale to 30 minutes, outer to 15 minutes. Arm with magnifying glasses for close reading. Thermometer fitted. Horizontal scale round base and vertical scale on back of dial both reading quadrantally to 30' and both with verniers.
Fahrenheit and centigrade scales, spare needle, rod magnets, weight and light deflector.
