An elephant posing for a photograph with his Mahout ouside an open wooden structure surrounded by trees in Kandy. The photograph was taken when the Prince was on a visit to Sri Lanka (Ceylon) as part of his topur of India. He arrived in Colombo on Wednesday 1 December and proceeded to Kandy for a Grand Reception of procession of elephants on the Thursday.
