Scale: 1:48. A Georgian full hull dividing model, of a 70-gun, two-decker ship of the line (circa 1730). The model divides into two sections longitudinally along the running strakes, each mounted on its own base. The division reveals the upper deck and the layout of the gun deck. In addition, a number of parts and fittings have been annotated.

The model relates to the 1719 Establishment, the dimensions of which were typically about 151 by 41½ feet. The ships weighed 1128 tons burden. They had a complement of 480 men. They carried 26 24-pound guns on their gun decks, twenty-six 12-pounders and four 6-pounders on their upper decks, and fourteen 6-pounders on their quarterdecks. Twelve ships were made in this fashion, and all but two of them in Thames yards.
