Satanita (1893); Recreation vessel; Yacht; Cutter yacht
Scale: 1:96. A full hull model of the cutter yacht Satanita (1893) made entirely in wood with wood, metal and organic material fittings, and painted in realistic colours. The vessel is depicted fully equipped with all sails set including jackyard topsail and jib topsail. The hull is painted dark cream below the waterline and black above. The single mast has two sails set and there are three jib sails set on the bowsprit. The mast, bowsprit and booms are polished wood and the sails are made from a uniform cream material. Other features include mast hoops, anchor, skylight, rudder and tiller. The model is displayed on a pair of wooden shaped crutches connected by a single stretcher.
