'H.M.S. 'Nimrod'

A drawing of the number of the ship H.M.S 'Nimrod'. It depicts three flags on a pole. the top flag is blue and triangular representing the signal code letter 'R'. The flag underneath is the Union Jack. The bottom flag is tringualr with a white backgroud and a red stripe running from the left hand side to the right, representing the singal code letter 'P'. Printed above the flag are the words "H.M.S. NIMROD'S NUMBER, JA'S R. DACRES ESQUIRE CAPTAIN. Printed at the boottom of the drawing are the words "NO. D. CECIT". The drawing was attached to a beige coloured mount with a gold coloured trim around the edge of the drawing.
