Quarter-repeating pocket watch in a gold / silver-gilt pair case. It has a full-plate capped fusee movement, signed and numbered, with a cylinder escapement and plain balance. The watch has a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and pierced hands; however, half of the minute hand is missing. There is a quarter-repeating train with two hammers striking the bell inside the inner gold pierced and engraved case. The outer case is a later silver-gilt, with no push catch ever having been fitted.
