River: sightseeing services
Arrive by river to appreciate Greenwich in its historic context on the great maritime route to London. As London's main artery for many centuries the Thames has a rich history. It still is used by round-the-world-travellers to symbolise their homecoming.
Sightseeing cruises operate from London Eye, Westminster, Tower and St. Katherine’s piers.
Sightseeing cruises include a commentary on the sights that can be seen from the boat which include the Palace of Westminster (Big Ben), London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, Shakespeare's Globe, The Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the riverside inns from which seafarers set out to explore the New World. Arrival at Greenwich by water reveals the grand architecture of Greenwich from its best perspective.
MBNA Thames Clippers river buses offer additional services on frequent high-speed boats serving Embankment, London Eye, Bankside, London Bridge City, Tower, Masthouse, Greenwich and North Greenwich for the O2 piers.
