Library provision 2009-12: There will be limited access by appointment until the anticipated opening of the new library in 2012. See Caird Library Opening Hours from 2009 for explanation and specific details about the availability of different materials. NB no appointment is needed to look at Library material in the Caird Library – only for manuscripts, rare books and offsite material.

Closures
- All three sites are closed 24–26 December.
- All three sites close early on 31 December and open late (13.00) on 1 January and on the occasion of the London Marathon each year (12.00).
- One or more sites may also occasionally be closed temporarily for filming or maintenance work.

Planetarium prices
- FREE to Members
- Adults £6.50
- Children* / concessions £4.50
- Family ticket £17.50 (2 adults, 2 children OR 1 adult, 3 children)
* Ages: Space Safari is suitable for children under 7 (under-3s admitted free). All other shows are recommended for ages 5+. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Concessions
Where there is a charge, concessions apply to the following categories:
- Students (full time/any age)
