The fourth of a series of ten drawings, of which the collection holds nine (PAF5913–21). The printed description of the plate based on it, probably written by Pocock, reads: 'Light, variable, and transient airs of Wind. The Ship appears under all her Sails. Steering Sails alternately set and hauled down. The Yards braced and squared, occasionally to catch the breeze – Boats ahead, towing the Ship off the Shore.' Signed by the artist and dated, lower right.
