A 19th-century print from the 1636 portrait of Galileo, painted for him by Justus Sustermans to send to a friend in Paris, but which has been in the Uffizi collection, Florence, since 1678. The Museum also has a good Italian professional copy of the original oil painting made in 1879 (BHC2701). [PvdM 6/10]
