Framed watercolour drawing entitled "Commander [? Commodore] Nelson boarding the San Nicholas of 80 and San Josef of 112 guns, 14th February 1797". Signed and dated by the artist, lower right, this is similar to though slightly simpler than the later oil version, BHC0487. NMM Pocock exh. (1975) no. 21, when exhibited in its near-original frame with a 'Trafalgar' mount, see catalogue and PAJ2867. Both are ex-Berry Coll, purchased from Mrs K.E. Maunsell 1953. [PvdM 10/08]
